Cloud Computing Characteristics: Flexible or Agile?

In promoting the benefits of cloud computing, it seems that some confuse “flexible” with “agile.” They are indeed distinct adjectives. I’ve always promoted the notion that a Management Consultant (and her IT cousin, the Enterprise Architect) needs a bit of style, a soupçon of panache, a dash of elegance in both presentation and deliverables. ITunes: from desktop software to SaaS subscription Today’s WSJ asserts that Apple is considering migrating its iTunes property to the cloud – i.e., shifting from a desktop-based software version to a SaaS-based model via its Lala acquisition.
